Hello! I’m Lindsay
Welcome to the Carefree Wanderings blog, where I share my outdoor adventures and exploration of local attractions, in hopes of inspiring others to follow their sense of adventure!
I’m based in Albuquerque, where I enjoy mountain biking, adventuring through the Sandia Mountains, and exploring local parks, art, and architecture. When I can get away for an extended amount of time, I thrive on bike- and backpacking and have participated in some fantastic adventures, like racing the French Divide, touring Colorado ghost towns, and exploring several U.S. states and a bit of Canada on foot or by bike.
While recently cleaning out an old computer, I realized I have a habit of taking beautiful photos to document my trips, only to come home, dump them on my computer, and never view them again.
Reliving two decades’ worth of adventures by perusing some of these photos has inspired me to embark on new travels. But this time, I’ll share my pics with a few words to remember the experiences by.
By sharing these adventures, I hope to encourage others—and myself—to explore more
Upcoming adventures: a tour of Albuquerque public art ; the Arkansas High Country Race ; sailing
